I don't know if it's only me or is there anybody else out there who doesn't like fitness center...?
Last weekend I got the chance to test a very hip and expensive gym here in Vienna and I have to admit that I felt really uncomfortable there. I felt really observed the whole time especially by the male gender. When I go into the gym its not my intention to talk to anyone or to catch anybodys attention!! Not at all!!! So if you're a more homeworkout type of a person like me..

Quick and easy
I just wanted to make a very short post about my favourite recipe when I don't have that much time for creating anything special in the kitchen...
This is also appropriate if you are on a tiny budget and cannot afford any "extraordinary" food.

5 Tips... to stay motivated
Today I decided to start a series of the topic "5 Tips to....". In the first issue I will share with you my top five tips to stay motivated and not to overcome the tempation to quit.
One of the most frequently question I get asked from people who find out that I workout 4-5 times a week is "Oh my god, how can you motivate yourself to workout that often?". Followed by the statement "I would never find the time for that".....and I can tell you in advance that 80% of the people who use this argument are wrong.
Of course this is a tough prediction for a 21-year old girl who doesn't have children, a own household and "only" a has 10-hours-per week-job and is a student. Of course in some cases it is true and having time to train is rather impossible, BUT if you really want you can accomplish anything.
So if you're suffering on a lack of motivation or need some inspiring words to kick asses, here are my top five tips that will help you to stick to your workout routine and help you to achieve the body and physical health you are dreaming of.

Work that ass!!!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
it is an honour to me to be able to present my first workout video to you! Don't ask what exactly brought me to do this but here it is now! I am really excited about this because I don't know if you will like it or if I look completely ridiculous etc. :POne of the main reasons why we tend to skip our workout is because we don't really know what to do. Of course we all could hire a personal trainer, but this is unrealistic to the most of us. So I am going to challenge YOU!! I offer you a free, quick and effective workout for your abdominal muscles combined with cardio moves. For that reason you can't bring the excuse "I don't know what do to. I need inspiration." Here you have it!
The training consists of two circuits with 5 moves each. You perform every move for 1 minute -> 1 circuit = 5 minutes. After finishing one circuit you take a break for about 30-60 seconds and then go one with the second circuit. After you finished the second circuit you start at the beginning with circuit 1 and then circuit 2. This may sounds complicated but it is really really easy!!!!

LUSH your life!
This is going
to be my first post about fashion... but mhmm actually you can also classify it
to the health topic. However, my alltime favourite products for skin care and
hygiene in general are produced by the company LUSH. All of the products are
handmade, organic, produced without animal testing and most of them are also
vegan. Aaaaand they smell AMAZING and helped me a lot with my extremely dry
skin during the cold months.
Due to the fact
that I have the best friends in the world (yes, I hope my girls are reading
this as well - I love you) and of course the most amazing boyfriend (I usually
force him to read my posts so I guess he will be reading this too - I love
you), I got a lot of new stuff on my birthday last month.

Vegan Chili con carne
I want to share with you my favourite recipe for a vegan Chili con (senza in fact) carne. It is so delicious and contains a lot of legumes and beans.... Which means -> Proteins, proteins and proteins :P and they are very high in iron, which is important especially for people who live vegetarian or vegan.

Ingredients:
- 300g cooked kidney beans
- 200g onions
- 100g puy lentils (Berglinsen)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon paprika powder
- 250g corn
- 700g tomato sauce ("Passata")
- 200g paprika

Do-it-yourself nut milk
Good
morning out there!
Today I
want to share with you my favourite recipe for homemade nut milk. Although I am
not vegan and consume cheese, yoghurt etc., I am definitely not a huge fan of
dairy products. I don’t want to explain this in detail right now, but you can
inform yourself by e.g. reading the China Study or on several vegan homepages on
the internet (always check the source and how reliable it is).
What I
really dislike is the taste of milk especially in my breakfast oat
meal/cereals. Of course there are many alternatives you can buy in any supermarket
e.g. soy milk, oat milk, rice milk, but most of them contain artificial flavors,
fillers, salt and preservatives.
And for
this reason I try to make my own non-dairy milk as often as I can. Sometimes I
just don’t have any time for that and like to enjoy “rice-coconut milk” by
Provamel.
So let’s
come to the recipe, you can exchange the cashews also for almonds, oats, hemp,
coconut etc.
Cashew milk
Ingredients:
- 1 cup
cashews
- 2 cups of
water
- vanilla,
cinnamon
- 4 medjool
pitted dates
- mixer (I
use a “Stabmixer”)
- a nutbag,
cheesecloth or “Wäschenetz”
Directions:
- Some
people have problems with digesting raw nuts, so if you count to one of those
let your nuts soak about 2 hours and remove the water after that time. I use
them raw without soaking.
- Put your
nuts, dates and fresh water in your mixer and mix until you have a white
liquid.
- Pour the
milk through a nutbag or cheesecloth or something like that to remove the nut
left-overs otherwise you will have some small nut pieces in your milk.
- Flavor with vanilla powder and cinnamon as
much as you like. You can also add a Chai spice blend if you want more “oriental”
taste.
- Store in a glass bottle in the fridge up to 3-4 days.
Maybe you
have to get used to the taste as it differs a lot from dairy milk. But you can
make anything out of your selfmade nutmilk e.g. mango smoothies, banana shakes…
Just explore what you like and what kind of taste you like the most.
Last tip
from me: If you want to make your own milk regularly I recommend buying a
gadget called “Veggiefino”. You don’t have to pour your milk through a
nutbag/cheesecloth, because the net is already built in and that makes it more
practical.
