Make up FAVS

I used to be very helpless when it comes down to make up. I didn't know what, how and why to put on certain stuff, so I ended up by applying some mascara and concealer and voilà. Although I had the feeling that there is more behind this topic and I simply was interested in how to make myself even more beautiful (just joking around). Of course every woman is naturally beautiful and most of us actually don't need any make up at all, but let's be honest, we all have our 'bad' days where we hadn't got enough sleep or anything like that and make up is our knight in shining armor.

However, I really love the natural look and for that reason I mostly use very nude and light colors for my eyes and skin. My nails get along with very colorful polish though and especially in winter I prefer colors like red, dark blue and beige.

Some of my absolute favorites at the moment are those on the picture. I don't exclusively use (more expensive) high-end make up like MAC, Bobbi Brown etc., but in my opinion most of them are worth the price. The eyeshadow palette from Catrice is something I definitely use for my everyday make up. It is very similiar to those famous Naked palettes from Urban Decay but much cheaper. 

The nail polish from essie in the color 'a list' is definitely a must-have. Essie is by far my favorite brand respective nail polish. For my everyday make up I also like to use the 'Minaralize Skinfinish' powder from MAC (in light plus) to fix and soften my face. I'm not the classic 'highlighting & contouring' type of a person, but this product (MAC Blush in harmony) really satisfies me. I use it for a light contour and to give my face a bit of a natural tan (I'm very light-skinned btw).

Wenn es zum Thema Make up kam, war ich immer ziemlich ziemlich ahnungslos und wusste nicht was, wie und wofür ich bestimmte Produkte auftragen sollte. Deshalb führt es immer dazu, dass ich ein bisschen Mascara und Concealer auftrug und fertig. Trotzdem hatte ich irgendwie das Gefühl, dass mehr hinter dieser Thematik steckt und es entwickelte sich ein gewisses Interesse wie ich mich selbst noch schöner machen könnte (kleiner Scherz). Selbstverständlich ist jede Frau natürlich schön und die meisten benötigen kein aufwendiges Make up. Aber sind wir mal ehrlich, jeder von uns hat ab und zu schlechte Tage mit wenig Schlaf etc. und Make up ist unser Retter in der Not.

Ich liebe den natürlich Look und aus diesem Grund beschränke ich mich meistens auf helle bzw. nude Farben für meine Augen und Haut. Meine Nägel vertragen allerdings schon etwas mehr Farbe und gerade im Winter setze ich auf Rot, dunkles Blau und Erdtöne. 

Einige meiner absoluten Favoriten zur Zeit sind auf dem Foto präsentiert. Ich benutze nicht ausschließlich sogenanntes "High-end Make up" wie MAC, Bobbi Brown etc., aber meiner Meinung nach sind die meisten Produkte ihr Geld wirklich wert. Die Lidschatten Palette von Catrice ist ein Produkt, welches ich für mein tägliches Make up benutze. Sie ist der berühmten Naked Palette von Urban Decay sehr ähnlich, allerdings weitaus günstiger. Der Nagellack von Essie 'a list' ist definitiv ein must-have. Für mein alltägliches Make-up verwende ich außerdem noch das MAC 'Skinfnish Natural' Puder (in Light Plus) um alles zu fixieren und weich zuzeichnen. Ich bin nicht die klassische "Highlighting & Contouring" Person, aber dieses Produkt (MAC Blush in Harmony) hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Ich benutze es um meinen Gesicht eine leichte Kontur und eine natürliche Bräune zu verleihen (Ich bin sehr hellhäutig btw).

Also wenn ihr genauso unerfahren seid wie ich es bis jetzt gewesen bin, dann hoffe ich dieser Post konnte euch einen kleinen Einblick geben, welche Produkte ihr verwenden könnt um eure natürliche Schönheit noch etwas zu unterstreichen.
